The 2025-26 season sees a new initiative at Garthorpe, The Garthorpe Top Horse Competition, generously sponsored by Fairman, Knight and Sons, sustainable insect farmers. Each horse placed in a Garthorpe point-to-point will score points towards the Top Horse League and the horse with the most points after the Quorn Point-to-Point will win a £1000 bonus.

Trade Stands
Garthorpe's point-to-point meetings are a good place to do some shopping. Trade stands of all sorts regularly attend, offering everything from clothes to furniture.
Food and Drink
It's great fun to bring a picnic of your own to Garthorpe so you can enjoy some "tailgating". Of course, we also have food and drink vendors in case you would prefer someone else do it for you,
Bookmakers
Garthorpe hosts a selection of bookmakers to all of its meetings, providing you with the opportunity to back your favourite and get a bit more involved.
Fun and games
Entry to Garthorpe for under-16s is completely free so do bring them along and introduce them to the port of point-to-point racing. There are children's amusements on site to entertain them too.
